SHAWARMA
Chicken shawarma is actually the Arab food made up of fried chicken, mayonnaise and many other spices. It is the delicious food which is most liked by the children. It is the food which you can bring with you in the lunch box and also its taste is very delightful. so, lets start to cook it.👍
PREPARATION PROCESS
INGREDIENTS
- Whole wheat flour ( 2 cups )
- All purpose flour ( 1 cup )
- Salt ( 1/2 tsp )
- Sugar ( 1/2 tsp )
- Dry instant yeast ( 1&1/2 tsp )
- Olive oil ( 4-5 tsp )
- Warm water as required
- Olive oil
DIRECTION
- Take a bowl, and add required quantities of whole wheat flour, all purpose flour, salt, sugar, dry instant yeast, olive oil and mix well, then take warm water as required, pour it into the bowl and knead well until dough is formed.
- Now oil the hand, knead it well, cover it and let it rest for 30 min, again knead well, cover and let it rest for 15 min.
- After that, make 6 balls of this dough and again let it rest for 15 min. now take one dough and make a small bread and cook both of its side on low flame until light brown.
CHICKEN PROCESS
INGREDIENTS
- Chicken boneless julienne ( 1/2 kg )
- Yogurt ( 3 tsp )
- Ginger garlic paste ( 1/2 tsp )
- Whole spices powder ( 1 tsp )
- Lemon juice ( 1/2 tsp )
- Red chili powder ( 1&1/2 tsp )
- Salt( 1 tsp )
- Black pepper powder ( 1 tsp )
- Olive oil ( 1 tsp )
- Fusion tahini sauce
- Tahini paste
- Garlic mayo ( 2 tsp )
- Yogurt strained ( 2 tsp )
- Salt (1/4 tsp )
- Water ( 1-2 tsp)
- Tomato deseeded julienne (1/2 cup)
- Carrot julienne ( 1/2 cup )
- Capsicum julienne ( 1/2 cup )
- Cucumber julienne ( 1/2 cup )
- Cooked chicken
- Cabbage julienne ( 1/2 cup )
- Jalapenos (1/4 cup )
- Pita bread
- Sauce
DIRECTION
- Now take another bowl, add chicken boneless, yogurt, ginger garlic paste, whole spices powder, lemon juice, red chili powder, salt, black pepper powder , mix it well and marinate for 15 min.
- Now oil the pan and cook marinated chicken until it is done
Take a small bowl, add tahini paste, garlic mayo, yogurt strained, salt, water, mix well and refrigerate for 10-15 min
STUFFING
Take another bowl and add required quantities of tomatoes deseeded julienne, carrot julienne, capsicum julienne, cucumber julienne, cooked chicken, cabbage julienne, jalapenos, mix them all and set aside.
ASSEMBLING
Put the pita bread on the surface and spread the stuffing on it and over it spread lot of tahini sauce and roll it and that's it our tasty shawarma is ready to eat. ENJOY IT.😜
